Heaton Park's impressive bowling facility was created for the Commonwealth Games in 2002. Its four championship standard greens and impressive pavilion are home to the park's two Bowling Clubs:

The greens are open to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, 1.30 - 4pm, from April to the end of September, just turn up and play. Bowls and shoes are provided. The cost for a two and a half hour session is £2 per person. Please bear in mind that the greens may be closed as a result of bad weather. To check call the Pavilion on 0161 798 9136.

BURY CROQUET CLUB
Bury Croquet Club also use a green for games and tournaments.
