Heaton Park has its own fishing club - King William IV Angling Society.
The Society manages nine areas of water in North Manchester including those in Heaton Park. So if you would like to fish in the Boating Lake, you need to contact the Secretary, Mrs Beryl Wesemeyer by email berylwesemeyer@hotmail.com or click here if you would like to visit the King William IV Angling Society's own website or telephone 0161 740 5051.
A day ticket to fish at Heaton Park costs: £3 adult, £1 Junior (up to 16 years of age). Payment is collected on the day, by the baliff 'on the bank'.
