This parkland course offers spectacular views over the Pennines and surrounding countryside, whilst providing a real test for golfers of all standards.

Sport Zone
A Manchester City Council planning committee approved plans from Goals Soccer Centres plc on 11th February 2010.  This investment will provide better sporting provision at Heaton Park.  This will include small-sided football pitches, tennis and netball courts, a climbing wall and changing rooms.  The new Sport Zone will be developed on 3.4 hectare site in the north-east corner of the park.

It is hoped the new facilities will be open for use by the end of 2010.

Running
The park is used regularly by local clubs for 5K cross country runs. They include Salford Harriers – find out more about this club on www.salfordharriers.co.uk/
